Our Art Gallery is open during restaurant hours and can also be visited by calling 264.497.4290. We live 5 minutes away.
GETTING TO HIBERNIA:
To get to Hibernia you can use the following options:
Car Rental:
From $ 40.00 per day. If you are visiting Anguilla for the first time, You should definitely rent a car at least for a couple of days. Anguilla is a very friendly island and it is very easy to get around with one main road going from west to east. All the beaches are beautiful and some completely unspoiled, especially around the east-end of the island. You can get a road map from the car rental company with all the beaches marked and the places of interest.
The Hibernia Shuttle:
If you are not planning on renting a car or if you don’t want to drive at night, you have this option. Hibernia operates a shuttle daily for a 7pm or 8.30pm dinner reservation. The cost is US$ 12.50 per person, round trip. The entire vehicle (capacity: 6 persons maximum) can be booked for US$60.00 round trip for a dining time of your choice. Please email us at Hibernia@caribcable.com if you would like to reserve this service or contact the Concierge desk of your hotel when you get to Anguilla.
Taxi:
The other option is to use a taxi that will bring you and take you back to your hotel at your desired time. The rates are from US$ 75.00 round trip for 2 persons. There is a surcharge of $10.00 per person for any extra passengers.
Directions to Hibernia
For those who are making their way to Hibernia for the first time, here are directions from the western end of the island:
On leaving your accommodation, head east on the main road until you reach the traffic light in South Hill village.
Pass by ‘Connors Car Rental’ on your left and continue straight on, staying always on the main road.
Just after you pass the ‘Ace’ Hardware shop on your right, continue on the main road as it bears to the right going around the roundabout.
Stay on the main road until you reach the next roundabout (with a digital clock & thermometer on a pole in the centre). Take the first exit (turn left) and enter ‘The Valley’.
Stay on the main road until you reach the next roundabout (with a few plants & a small plaque in the centre).
Shaped like a crossroads, take the second exit (which is the road directly straight ahead) called Queen Elizabeth Avenue.
Drive to the end of this road and turn left at the traffic light.
At the next roundabout, (formerly the Shoal Bay junction), take the second exit, heading towards Island Harbour Village.
At the next ‘V’ junction, bear left. (See Hibernia sign)
Stay on the main road to reach Island Harbour village.
Continue straight through the village passing a gas station on your left.
Continue straight ahead for another few minutes and take the next left (located on a small hill). (See the Hibernia sign).
You have arrived at Hibernia! From West End hotels to Hibernia,approx. 30 minutes.
